ITINERARY
 

WEDNESDAY - 1ST NOVEMBER 

Arrive at the Virgin Domestic Terminal (T1) by 11.30am to check in for our flight to Brisbane.

​

We recommend downloading the Virgin (or Qantas for those flying on the Qantas one-way group) prior to boarding. It is also recommended to download some shows/movies to on Netflix/Stan etc incase the aircraft does not have streaming.

​

​Upon arrival in Brisbane, we will be met by our Coach drivers and transferred to the Q1 Resort on the Gold Coast.

​

The drive will take approximately an hour, we anticipate arriving to the hotel between 9.30-10pm local time. If you would like dinner when you arrive, the best option would be to order Uber Eats/Door Dash etc on the coach to 9 Hamilton Ave, Surfers Paradise once we have left Brisbane and know our ETA.

Today was a travel day with the sole purpose of getting everyone over and ready to hit the ground running in the morning. We chose the later flight arrival as it was $238 cheaper per person than the earlier departure. It was decided the saving was worth arriving a bit later than we would have preferred, and hope with the time difference meaning we will be arriving around 7.30/8pm Perth time, no one will be too tired :-)

 

What to Wear 

Plain black bottoms, 2023 Nationals Travel Shirt, plain white shoes with white socks, hair half up half down with Toxic Scrunchie.

THURSDAY - 2ND NOVEMBER

Park Training - John Fraser Memorial Park (3 min walk).

Athletes only.

What to Wear 

2023 Toxic Training Set, 2023 Camp Shirt over the top, Black Nfinity Flyte Cheer Shoes, Toxic Socks, Travel Scrunchie.

 

Please wash Nationals t-shirt ready for Friday's cheer training.

 

Athletes can wear sneakers to walk to the park and change their shoes once they get there.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Please make sure you are back in time and ready to meet for dinner below.

FRIDAY - 3RD NOVEMBER

Training at Mega Cheer 28 Fremantle Street Burleigh Heads. Athletes only.

 

Meet in lobby at 9.15am. 

 

Training Time: 10.00 - 12.30pm

 

What to Wear

Travel Training Set (Pink) with 2023 Nationals Shirt Over the top, Toxic Scrunchie,  hair in high slick pony, Toxic Scrunchie, Black Nfinity Flytes and Black Toxic Socks.

Meet back in lobby at 1.15pm

 

Coaches will give everyone time to have some lunch and get changed. We will then meet in lobby to spend some time at the beach together this afternoon. Parents must attend.

 

Your coaches will confirm the details of this afternoon with you when they return from training 

 

The rest of the afternoon and evening is free once everyone is back from the beach.

 

Dance Soloists competing on Saturday: Please ensure you tan tonight as required, using your spare sheet if laying down with tan on.

SATURDAY - 4th NOVEMBER

APGI Dance Day - Nissan Arena - 590 Mains Road, Nathan

​

Free Day for all not competing in Dance. 

 

Dance Soloists and their Parent/s only need to attend this day.  You need to find your own transport to Nissan Arena.

All other athletes, parents and siblings are welcome to watch, but please note no transport for the day is available.

All other Athletes: Please ensure ALL other athletes are tanned tonight ready for cheer tomorrow.
Please make sure you put a sheet down if lying on bed.

This evening is free for you to enjoy at your leisure.

SUNDAY - 5th NOVEMBER

APGI Cheer Day - Nissan Arena 590 Mains Road, Nathan. 

 

Meet in the Lobby at 9.15 am to board bus and leave by 9.30 am - transport is provided for all athletes and families attending.

What to Wear 

Black bottoms with any crop / top plus Cheer Jersey over the top, white sneakers with white socks, hair in high slick pony with competition Bow in place. Makeup must also already be done to competition standard.

 

Please change in to Competition Uniform, black Nfinity Flyte cheer shoes and Toxic Socks once at the arena and do not wear these on the bus. This is to prevent accidents with travel sickness 

 

We suggest you take lunch/snacks for the day.

This morning we're off to MovieWorld for a full day of fun and rides!

Meet in the lobby at 9.15am for our transfer... the coach will leave Q1 Resort by 9.30am

SHOWS 

 

At 3pm, Transport will be available to pick you up from Movie World and take you back to the hotel. You’re welcome to stay longer and extend your day however if you chose to do so you will need to make your own way back to the hotel. Please let your coach know if you will not be returning with the group before 4pm.

We recommend downloading the Village Roadshow Theme Parks App prior to our visit so you have all the information about rides, shows and food etc on hand: Apple or Android

On arrival back to the hotel, please ensure you have packed everything up for fly out day tomorrow.

TUESDAY - 7th NOVEMBER

It's time to head home :-)

Please be checked out of your apartment and meet in the lobby by 9.30am for our transfer back to Brisbane Airport
